GoodFence is operated by VFitLab (Andrew Louis Voris), Barrington, Illinois. By requesting a free scan or joining as a member, you agree to these terms. Questions: getgoodfence@vfitlab.org.

The service

GoodFence is a personal-data removal service. For members, each month we:

• Search for your listings across our covered list of data brokers and people-search sites — 54 sites verified as of October 2026. The list can change as brokers change their processes or shut down.
• Submit opt-out and removal requests on your behalf where your information appears.
• Re-check previously cleared sites. Brokers re-list people from new data sources all the time; while your membership is active, we re-submit removals when your information comes back.
• Send you one plain-English report by email: what was found, what was filed, what cleared, and what is still pending.

Some brokers only accept removal requests directly from the person (for example, by phone or mail). When that happens we flag it in your report with instructions, rather than pretending we filed it.

Your authorization

By joining, you authorize GoodFence to act on your behalf to submit opt-out and removal requests to the brokers on our covered list, in your name, using the information you provide. You confirm the information you give us is accurate and is about you (or someone you are legally authorized to act for).

Free exposure scan

The free scan is a one-time search of covered sites using the name and location you provide, with a report of likely matches. It does not include removal filings, and a scan cannot guarantee that every listing everywhere is found — matches depend on the details provided.

Plans and billing

• Founding membership: $15/month for the first 500 members, locked at that rate while the membership stays active.
• Monthly: $19/month.
• Annual: $190/year.

Payments are processed by Stripe and renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel anytime before your next renewal; your membership stays active through the end of the period you paid for, and sweeps stop after that. A canceled founding membership loses the locked founding rate if you rejoin later.

30-day money-back guarantee

If GoodFence is not a fit, email us within 30 days of your first payment and we will refund it in full.

The subscription watchdog

The bank subscription watchdog is a separate feature that is rolling out after launch. It is not part of the current service until we announce it is live. When it launches, it will be included free for founding members, it will use read-only access (it can never move your money), and updated terms will be posted before it starts.

Honest limits

• Brokers control their own timelines. Some removals complete in days; others take weeks or require extra verification steps.
• Removal is not permanent. A broker can republish your information from a new public record or data source — that is exactly why the service re-checks monthly.
• GoodFence reduces your exposure on covered sites. It cannot erase every copy of your information from the internet, remove government or other public records, or make anyone invisible.
• We will never report a removal as done until the broker has actually processed it.

Acceptable use

You may not use GoodFence to remove information about someone else without their authorization, or for any unlawful purpose.

Liability

GoodFence is provided as described above. To the extent allowed by law, our total liability for any claim connected to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Illinois law.

Changes and governing law

If these terms change in a meaningful way, we will update the date at the top and note the change for members by email. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois.
